Throughout Darfur, millions of refugees and displaced people struggle to survive without the basics of food and clean water, electricity, and
medicine.
Bring Clean Water to a Thirsty Nation
The arid, desert land has no indigenous water supply and we must dig wells to sustain the refugee population after water supplies are destroyed and polluted during attacks from government backed militia.
Fulfill a Dream

For refugee children, the dream of a good education is gone. With help from you and the DCDO, children have the chance to learn and grow in a safe environment. While the DCDO funds school supplies and teacher salaries throughout refugee camps and repopulated towns, we also work to bring orphaned and sponsored children to study in the United States.
Be a Light in the Darkness…
Most refugee camps are without any form of electricity. Crude huts, erected closely for protection are open targets for nighttime raids by Janjaweed militia who regularly attack young girls and women in or around refugee camps. Your donation provides lanterns and brings safety and light to a very dark part of our world.
